Embossed Labels

Embossed labels are created by using pressure to permanently shape material creating both a raised and recessed relief. The technique creates a visually stunning label which is also pleasing to the touch. Embossing is achieved by using two plates with the desired pattern etched into the faces to form a stamp; these plates are then placed above and below the label surface. A high load is applied and the resulting pressure reshapes the label material permanently to form the desired design. Embossing is often successfully combined with metallic label styling.
